The environmental work shall be preventive and strive to continuously improve products, processes and plants to minimize the effect on the environment.
For FinnvedenBulten this means:
To take the environment into consideration when choosing material, developing products and at acquisitions and change of company structure. That processes and products do not consume more natural resources than absolutely necessary.
To always follow current environmental legislation and take the environmental demands from our interested parties into consideration.
That each division is responsible for conducting their environmental work in accordance with the Group’s guidelines.
That our employees have the requisite competence to perform their duties in a responsible and safe manner with regards to the external environment.
That our business partners have good insight into our environmental work and our products environmental performance and that they meet relevant requirements and expectations.
To regularly measure and follow-up the result of the environmental work and, internally as well as externally, communicate relevant and factual information with stakeholders.
