Threads and dogpoints

Finally, the threads themselves can differ in a variety of ways – all depending on how they are intended to be applied and used. The same is true for the dogpoint, the very end of the screw. How this is shaped is a direct result of what kind of surface the screw is intended to enter, and how your production line is set up. It is often worth considering Taptite®, as this avoids many known hazards of regular screws.
